Louisville man arrested for three murders, including two teens found in Shawnee neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A newly-surfaced homemade rap video shows Brice Rhodes, 25, and his alleged victims co-existing.

What changed in these relationships to end in the gruesome killings of Larry Ordway, 14, and Maurice Gordon, 16, is what detectives and investigators are working to figure out.

Their mother tells WDRB she believes it has something to do with what they knew about a May 4 murder on 41st Street

That's a crime police now believe Rhodes was behind.

WDRB did some digging and found Rhodes has a lengthy criminal history from both sides of the Ohio River.

In Jeffersonville, just outside the Boys and Girls Club, documents show Rhodes pointed a gun at his victim's head. That happened while he demanded cash and a cell phone.

The judge sentenced him to six years, but with time served, he ended up behind bars for a year and a half.

A pair of domestic violence incidents in Louisville in 2013 and 2014 landed Rhodes back in jail. In one of those cases, documents show he ran from police.

Fast-forward to today.

There are still warrants out for Rhodes' arrest in Clark County for battery and criminal confinement. That stems from a November 2015 fight that turned violent.

Documents allege Rhodes threw hot pumpkin pie on his then girlfriend's face while she was breastfeeding her son.

The worst of his charges came recently -- murder.

Something family and friends of the victims are still trying to comprehend.
