LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Washington State man says distracted driving led to a deadly crash in Shelby County last year.
23-year-old Miroslav Kuzmanovic plead guilty to manslaughter charges yesterday.
In May of last year, he was driving a tractor trailer when he crashed into slowed traffic on I-64.
Police say his 18-wheeler rear-ended 71-year-old Doris Wise's car, killing her.
Kuzmanovic told officials he was distracted by his cell phone when the crash happened.
The crash caused a chain reaction involving five cars.
He's set to be sentenced on August 15th in Shelby County.
