LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Oldham County Road Superintendent has resigned after accusations of misappropriating winter supplies.
Judge Executive David Voegele tells WDRB News, that Lance Lashley resigned on Friday.
He had been on paid administrative leave since April 2. Voegele wouldn't get into the specifics about the rock, salt and diesel that were misappropriated.
On Thursday, Lashley told WDRB News that the allegations against him were false. Oldham County Police are still investigating.
On Friday, Lashley told WDRB's Valerie Chinn that he resigned voluntarily, that he just wanted to put the matter behind him, and that he didn't like the job anyway.
