LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A museum in Kentucky focused on a famous U.S. Army General is set to re-open next month.
The General George Patton Museum has been undergoing extensive renovations for nine months. The museum, located in Fort Knox, has the largest single collection of artifacts that belonged to General Patton.
Among the changes made to the museum are a new roof; heating, and a repaved parking lot.
Fort Knox officials say the museum will reopen Aug. 16. It is free to the public.
