8 people arrested in Hardin County on numerous drug charges

LOUISVILLE,  Ky. (WDRB) -- For several months, the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force has been investigating several people for drugs.

On Thursday, it served search warrants.

Eight people are now charged with various crimes, including trafficking in controlled substance, manufacturing meth and possession:

  • James Vessels, 44: Trafficking in controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and use and investment of drug-related income
  • Christopher Boggs, 40: Possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license
  • Robert Brown, 54: Trafficking in controlled substance, resisting arrest, no operator's license and expired registration plates
  • Brian Burnett, 58: Trafficking in controlled substance, trafficking controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Billy Burnett, 62:Trafficking in controlled substance, trafficking controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Paul Wiseman, 55: Manufacturing meth, trafficking in controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Kaelin Favreau, 29: Trafficking in controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Theodore Ripplinger, 59: Trafficking in controlled substance, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

The task force found 12 ounces of crystal meth, several weapons, cash, vehicles and marijuana, all which were seized.

Officials said more arrests are expected in the near future.
