LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police arrested four people early Wednesday after serving two search warrants in Scott County.
Indiana State Police conducted the searches around 4 a.m. Wednesday. One search was conducted at a residence on Oard Springs Road in rural Scott County. That's where police arrested 29-year-old William Robert Waldon from Cross Street in Austin and 25-year-old Ashley Nicole Vernon, from Oard Springs Road in Scottsburg.
Both face charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
The second search warrant was executed at a residence on State Road #256 in Scott County; that's where police arrested 53-year-old Gary W. Waldon of Austin for possession of marijuana under 30 grams, possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of paraphernalia.
Police also arrested 31-year-old Matthew Murdock of Austin at the scene for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
All four suspects were being held at the Scott County Jail.
The search warrants were a result of a shooting investigation that began in Jackson County.
