LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell's campaign team takes a jab at a West Virginia Republican who just lost his primary race.
During the campaign, Don Blankenship launched a series of attacks against McConnell. Blankenship often called McConnell "Cocaine Mitch" and referred to his in-laws as "his China family."
Once Blankenship conceded Tuesday night, McConnell's campaign team tweeted an image that read, "Thanks for playing, Don."
The image mimics an advertisement for the Netflix series "Narcos," which chronicles the cocaine trade in Colombia during the 1980's.
