LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- On Friday, Oct. 18, at 9 a.m., the FCC was scheduled to change the frequencies of local channels in the Louisville area.
That means viewers using an antenna for reception of local channels now need to rescan / channel scan your TVs to receive local stations, including WDRB and WBKI. Please note: not all channels were immediately affected. Once you can no longer see the channel you're looking for at its normal location, it's time to rescan.
Not sure how to do it? Here’s a step-by-step guide from TVanswers.org:
1. Select Scan or Autotune from your TV or converter box control menu to start the scanning process.
2. Your TV will do the rest. This process usually takes a few minutes to complete.
Once your rescan is complete you will still find your favorite stations on the same channel number as before.
