LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The University of Louisville's second game in three days went much different than the first, as the Cardinals upset No. 2 North Carolina, 71-65.
Their eighteenth win of the season, it is undoubtedly U of L's best over an opponent some believe to the best team in the country.
The Cardinals held a narrow lead for the majority of the game. There were only 10 lead chances throughout.
In likely the biggest collegiate game of his career, senior guard Damion Lee led U of L with 24 points and five rebounds.
Louisville's defense was a big story as well. The Tar Heels shot just 34 percent from the field and shot 3-17 from the 3-point line.
