LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- O.K.I. Spirits is launching a new bourbon called "Athlete's Cut," which, in partnership with 502Circle, will support University of Louisville athletes.
Chad Brizendine and Jake Warm, co-owners of O.K.I. Spirits, said in a news release that 15% of all sales of "Athlete's Cut" will go to 502Circle, the Name, Image and Likeness collective supporting UofL athletics.
"We're thrilled to be partnering with Dan and the 502Circle to raise funds to support student athletes," said Brizendine, a "proud graduate" of UofL.
Dan Furman, president of 502Circle, expressed his excitement to partner with O.K.I. on this new blend.
"I couldn't be more thrilled to have O.K.I. as our official whiskey partner of 502Circle," Furman said. "We're in the heart of bourbon country and the launch of Athlete's Cut by O.K.I. gives our fans a fun way to support us by combining several passions".
Athlete's Cut is a blended bourbon whiskey and is a double barreled bourbon blend that has spent more than eight years in barrels. It will be labeled at 90 proof and retail for $49.99 when it hits shelves this fall.
