LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A shootout in southern Indiana earlier this week left a Louisville man dead.
The Crawford County Prosecutor Nicholas Haverstock said it happened Sunday afternoon outside a home on Easy Street just south of the town of Sulphur. Haverstock said 29-year-old Gregory Peals, of Louisville, shot 28-year-old Ricky Phipps of Magnet, Indiana, with a gun that had been on the porch of the home.
Phipps ran to the home after he'd been shot, which is when police say 63-year-old Terry Olliges came out of the house and shot and killed Peals.
No charges have been filed in the case.
