WDRB's own Candyce Clifft and her husband compete in Not-So-Newlywed Game

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some local married couples were put to the test Tuesday night on how well they know each other.

The Masonic Homes of Kentucky hosted its second annual Not-So-Newlywed Game, based on the 1970s television show, The Newlywed Game.

The event tested how well local couples, who've been married for a while, know each other. Even WDRB in the Morning's Candyce Clifft and her husband Kip got in on the fun.

"I am worried," Kip Eatherly said. "We've been married 20 years-plus now, so I'm a little nervous I'm gonna bomb, and it's gonna look pretty bad. I'm gonna embarrass myself. But I have started listening the last week or so, so I'm hoping that will get us through."

"A week of listening. That's perfect!" Clifft added.

The fundraiser supports Sproutlings Pediatric Day Care and Preschool, the only day care in the region that integrates both children with medical needs and typical children in the same classroom.

Candyce and Kip came in second place.
