Police canceled the missing person alert around 11:30 Thursday morning. 

Kentucky State Police was able to use a helicopter to hoist Hern up to safety.

A state highway worker found the remains in January 1998 near an Interstate 70 overpass in Vigo County near the Illinois border.

Lynn Murray was last seen in the 5400 block of Pendleton Road around 11 a.m. on Monday. 

Johnny Kovach went missing from his residence in Hillview around noon Wednesday, officials with Bullitt County Emergency Management said.

George Christopher Myers, 52, hasn't been seen for several months.

Gehlbach is described as 6-foot-1-inches, 190 pounds with green eyes.

An update from LMPD said he was located Tuesday morning.

Hardin County EMS director Joey Scott said a large-scale search was conducted Wednesday.

The Silver Alert was canceled Saturday morning.
