Indiana health officials reported Sunday that more than 6,200 new Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The seven-day statewide positivity rate is 7.9%.

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 2,519 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the state to at least 157,713 infections since March. 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported a new single-day record of 2,880 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the state to at least 155,246 infections since March. 

Meanwhile, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 1,766 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the state to at least 152,396 infections since March. 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 1,551 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the state to at least 150,664 infections since March. 

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) reported 1,589 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, bringing the state to at least 149,166 infections since March. 

In a news release, the state said 22 more people have died from the coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths in Indiana to 3,654.

Indiana health officials reported 1,962 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday -- a new single-day record -- bringing the state's total confirmed infections to 141,212.

Indiana health officials reported 1,172 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the state's total confirmed infections to 139,269.
