Kroger chef shares his inspiration for a Black & Bleu Pretzel Burger

Cooks in search of the perfect burgers change up everything from spices to cheese. Kroger chef Paul Dowell has his perfect combo in a Black and Bleu Pretzel Burger.

Black and Bleu Pretzel Burger

Makes 4 burgers

2# Private Selection Angus Ground Chuck

2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

2 Tablespoons Kroger Blackened Seasoning

½ teaspoonGround Cayenne Pepper

½ #Unsalted Butter, softened

4 oz. Private Selection Bleu Cheese

¼ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

1/8 teaspoon Granulated Garlic

¼ teaspoon Dried Onion Flakes

4 Bavarian Pretzel Buns in the Kroger Bakery

Preheat grill

Combine ground chuck, Worcestershire sauce, blackened seasoning and cayenne pepper. Mix well and form into 4 patties.

Combine butter, bleu cheese, pepper, garlic and onion flakes. Mix until well combined.

Grill burgers to desired doneness.

Place a dollop of the bleu cheese butter on top of burger.

Place burger on pretzel bun and enjoy!

Makes a great tailgating burger!
