LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- New Albany Police Department is conducting an active death investigation after a body was found in a parking lot on State Street.
Todd Bailey, chief of New Albany Police Department, said a body was found in a parking lot in the 400 block of State Street inside a parked car. Bailey said the cause of death, gender and identity of the deceased isn't known.
Police said foul play isn't suspected and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
