LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was found dead in the Ohio River at Cox Park on Wednesday evening.
LMPD responded to a body being found in the river at the park on River Road around 5:15 p.m.
"When officers arrived, they located what appears to be the body of an adult male in the river obviously deceased," LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said in a news release.
The man's identity hasn't been released.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is starting a death investigation.
