LEBANON, Ind. (WDRB) -- Day Four of the defense case in the third David Camm triple murder trial continued the testimony of Barie Goetz, a forensics expert. Goetz showed the jury a video re-enacting what they think happened when David Camm got home and found his family dead.
Goetz testified nearly all day Thursday and he continues his testimony Friday. The purpose of his re-enactment video was to try to prove to the jury that the blood of David Camm's shirt came from Jill Camm's bloody hair when he reached over his daughter to pull the body of his son, Bradley, out of the Bronco to perform CPR.
But prosecutors questioned the placement of Kim, Brad and David Camm in that video, and the accuracy of the conclusion it makes. This all came shortly after David Camm was escorted into the courtroom Friday morning.
The jury also saw pictures of evidence from the scene. Kim Camm and David Camm's families were both present in the courtroom today. Many of them looked away when those photos were shown because of their graphic nature. We expect to hear from David Camm's sister, Julie, on the stand later today.
