LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's tradition. It's patriotism. And it's amazing to listen to hundreds of high school music students sing the "Star Spangled Banner."
The Kentucky State Choir conference gathers at the Louisville Hyatt downtown each year. It's tradition that each night at 11 p.m. everyone comes out to the balconies of the 18 story hotel. And everything stops, as they sing the National Anthem.
Impressed hotel guests posted videos on the WDRB social media pages thinking the students were supporting the U. S. Olympic team. But this is an annual tradition that is applause-worthy. We think you'll agree.
