LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville family is moving into a new house for Christmas thanks to the local nonprofit group YouthBuild.

Jasmine Johnson and her family along will be moving into the newly renovated home on Cecil Avenue. YouthBuild is an organization that brings young adults together to gut and rebuild vacant homes. Jasmine is a graduate of the YouthBuild program.

"She has worked very hard to overcome obstacles that she was facing early on and really move her family along," said Lynn Rippy, the executive director of YouthBuild. "She's an incredible mom, an incredible wife, and an incredible graduate. So we're very proud of her."

This is the 15th house YouthBuild has completed this year.
