Authorities say that on Saturday, the pair approached the victim, who is a basketball coach at Doss High School, in a hallway at Trinity High School, located on Shelbyville Road in Saint Matthews. Police say the men hit the coach multiple times with closed fists.
Investigators say the victim was hit in the head. Official records also state that the victim was "knocked sideways and out the of door of the building." The report also states the victim suffered injuries to the side of his head, left side of his face, neck and lower back.
