LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â A federal agency is looking into a barn fire at a southern Indiana Wildlife facility.
The owner of Wildlife in Need says the fire killed 41 animals. The spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Agriculture says the agency wants to know if the facility violated any federal rules, and if it may have contributed to the fire Tuesday afternoon.
Last year, USDA inspections of Wildlife in Need found abuse of animals and unsafe conditions for visitors.
The owner denies any wrongdoing.
