LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There was a buzz around the Muhammad Ali Center on Sunday that had nothing to do with the big crowds honoring "The Champ."

That buzz was from a swarm of bees that decided to make a home in a tree outside the center in downtown Louisville. It wasn't far from a sign showing one of Ali's most famous quotes saying he, "Floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee." And many visitors paying tribute to Ali felt like it was no coincidence the bees came on that day.

Kevin McKinney from the Kentuckiana Beekeepers Association felt humbled in getting the call to remove the bees. He called it a "sign for us to go up to God himself." He said "A swarm of bees any other day is a swarm, but today? It's special."

Big crowds have gathered at the center in his hometown, since Ali died early Saturday morning after a 32 year battle with Parkinson's disease. One man said that he felt like the bees were to show that Ali's spirit was there.

McKinney says he will take the bees to a safe environment.
