LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville restaurant that claims to out-do your mama in the kitchen has added a second location.

Highland Morning in St. Matthews opened today off Shelbyville Road. The family-owned restaurant already has one location on Bardstown Road.

It has been in business for five years, and has won several local awards.

The owners say all of the favorites will be served at the new location, as well as a few more options.

"Tell your mama we're sorry our biscuits and gravy are better than hers," said Michael Coe, one of the restaurant's co-owners. "Yeah we serve food that elicits feelings of comfort, like biscuits and gravy. We also have some items on there that we're flexing our culinary muscles a little more."

The new location will be open until 3 p.m. during the week, and until 4 o'clock on the weekends.
