National Pirate Day means freebies for customers of Long John Silver's and Krispy Kreme

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some freebies are going to have many people saying "Ahoy matey!"

Monday is National Talk like a Pirate Day. Anyone who talks like a pirate at Long John Silver's restaurants will get a free piece of fish or chicken. If you dress up as a swashbuckling customer, you'll get a whole fish basket for free.

At Krispy Kreme stores, guests can talk like a pirate for a free doughnut, or dress like one for a free dozen doughnuts.
