Braidy Industries plans to build an aluminum plant in eastern Kentucky that it says will pay workers $65,000 a year. The company says it will need to “start hiring” next year to prepare for the 2021 opening.

Braidy Industries named an acting president and CEO on Wednesday, a move the company said will “accelerate plans to build the world’s most technologically advanced aluminum rolling mill” outside Ashland, Ky.
The company said it's "working to finalize fundraising and begin construction" of the Ashland, Ky. aluminum mill, but it offered no new details about investments.
