A group of Kentucky lawmakers wants to remove days honoring Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davis from the state's official list of public holidays.
The bill would allow educators, law enforcement and first responders to "diffuse a crisis early" by offering them evidence-based mental training to use.
It is unknown if Gov. Eric Holcomb plans to sign the bill into law.
