Louisville Water Company says door tags showing up at area homes aren't coming from them

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Water Company is warning customers that a door tag showing up at area homes isn't coming from them.

The company said the tags claim to provide a community water update. But LWC officials said the tags have nothing to do with them.

There is a "C&P Clearwater" logo at the bottom of the tags, and small print that says it's a private company not related to LWC.

WDRB News called the number listed on the tag. The person who answered said questions about what services the company provides would need to be directed to a manager.
