"We are thrilled to announce Operation Santa Paws at Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux in Clarksville. This holiday season, we are not only celebrating the spirit of giving but also extending out support to the local community and our furry friends at the Jeffersonville Animal Shelter," Todd Johnson, co-owner of Walk-On's Clarksville, said in a news release on Tuesday. "At Walk-On's, we believe in making a positive impact, and Operation Santa Paws is our way of bringing joy to both people and pets alike."
The shelter's biggest need is kitten food and cat litter, but will also take any kind of donation.
Customers are also able to donate their time to the local shelter if they choose.
Operation Santa Paws started in Long Beach, California and has expanded nationwide to increase awareness of animal shelters and adoptions.
Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux is located at 970 E. Lewis and Clark Parkway in Clarksville, Indiana.
