LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The former general manager of a Clarksville car dealership was arrested for corrupt business practices, Indiana State Police said Tuesday.

ISP began an investigation of former Coyle Chevrolet employee Jon Ryan Blakely in August. According to police, Blakely allegedly funds were illegally transferred from a company credit card to accounts owned and controlled by Blakely. The credit card that was issued to Blakely was intended to be used specifically for his business dealings with vehicle wholesalers.

Police said Blakely illegally transferred more than $200,000 in company funds to his personal accounts over a one-year period. No customers of Coyle Chevrolet were impacted.

Blakely was arrested Dec. 1 and charged with theft and corrupt business practices. He was taken to Clark County jail without incident.

Blakely appeared in Clark County Circuit Court for his initial hearing Monday. He posted a $2,500 bond and awaiting his next court hearing scheduled for Jan. 31, 2024.
