LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville woman awaiting trial for arson is in trouble again after police said she assaulted a corrections officer.

Hannah Hardy, 34, is charged with assaulting a peace officer after the alleged incident earlier this week. According to an arrest slip, Hardy was "being disruptive" before she "purposely spat" in the officer's face. Some of the bodily fluid made it into the right eye of the officer, who was taken to UofL Hospital for evaluation.

Hardy allegedly spat at other corrections officers during the incident.

She has been incarcerated since February on two counts of wanton endangerment and one count of arson after she allegedly set a fire at a home on Broad Run Road while two people were inside. Court records indicate Hardy admitted to the crime.

She is due in arraignment court on Nov. 27.
