LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Voters headed to the polls today to determine the Democratic nominee in the race for Kentucky Senate, District 33.
Polls closed at 6 p.m.
The race was between three candidates: long-time incumbent Gerald Neal, Neal's former legislative aide, Charles Booker, and former Jefferson County Judge Joan "Toni" Stringer.
Here are the final polling numbers with 100 percent of precincts reporting:
Gerald Neal: 9,013 votes; 48 percent
Joan Stringer: 5,945 votes; 32 percent
Charles Booker: 3,679 votes; 20 percent
