LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Eye-opening data reveals which Kentucky students are succeeding after graduation and which aren't. A new online tool unveiled Monday morning tracks which students are college and career-ready.
Harvard University has been tracking data as part of a partnership with the Kentucky Department of Education and JCPS.
It shows improvement in helping kids prepare for college and careers, but not for everyone.
"Principals should say these numbers aren't perfect, I have questions but I know that my kids went to college and persisted in college and those are two things I want to care about and track and keep working to improve," Megan Nipson, of Harvard University, said.
The information will also be used to boost the number of kids going to college under Louisville's 55,000 Degrees program.
