The agreement requires the schools to waive their right to file lawsuits against the enforcement agency and gives it wide latitude to sanction programs for violating rules that outline how players can be paid. The Associated Press has obtained a copy of the 11-page document. It reminds schools that “full compliance with the Membership Rules is critical to the future success of college athletics.” Commissioners of the Power Four conferences have asked schools to review and sign the document by Dec. 3.
