Marty Brown adds two rushing scores for Miami, which improves to 4-0. Brown's 1-yard plunge with 4:08 left seals the win. Florida's Jadan Baugh scores a 7-yard touchdown run, but the Gators fall to 1-3, their worst start since 1986. Miami's defense limits Florida to 141 total yards. Miami quarterback Carson Beck completes 17 of 30 passes for 160 yards and an interception. Miami remains undefeated at home since the start of last season.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Darian Mensah threw three touchdown passes and Duke snapped a two-game losing streak, overcoming a 13-point deficit to beat N.C. State 45-33. The Blue Devils scored 21 points in a span of less than four minutes of game time spanning the two halves to surge into the lead. Anderson Castle added three rushing touchdowns, including a clinching 66-yard dash on third down with 2:19 remaining. CJ Bailey tossed two touchdowns passes to Terrell Anderson and was intercepted three times for N.C. State. Hollywood Smothers rushed for 123 yards and one touchdown and Will Wilson had two 1-yard TD runs. Anderson picked up 166 yards on six catches.
CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Steve Angeli threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns before leaving with a lower leg injury, Justus Ross-Simmons caught two TD passes as Syracuse upset Clemson 34-21. The Tigers are 1-3 for the first time under coach Dabo Swinney. Angeli connected with Ross-Simmons and Darrell Gill Jr. in the first half for scores and Will Nixon ran for a 9-yard TD helping Syracuse build a 27-14 lead before Angeli went down. Rickie Collins added a touchdown pass in relief. Syracuse, a 17.5-point underdog, never trailed. Clemson's Cade Klubnik threw three touchdowns, but the Tigers fall to 1-3 for the first time since 2004.
ATLANTA (AP) — Haynes King threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns, Malachi Hosley ran for two touchdowns, and No. 18 Georgia Tech raced out to a quick three touchdown lead and beat Temple 45-24. The Yellow Jackets (4-0), playing their first home game as a ranked team since 2015, scored touchdowns on their first three possessions, gaining 199 yards on 16 offensive plays for a 21-0 first-quarter lead. Temple (2-2) pulled within 21-14 on Jay Ducker’s 2-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and Evan Simon’s 28-yard scoring pass to JoJo Bermudez. But Hosley scored his third and fourth rushing touchdowns of the season on consecutive drives to restore the 21-point advantage.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Tommy Castellanos passed for 205 yards and had two of No. 7 Florida State’s eight rushing touchdowns in a 66-10 rout of Kent State. Gavin Sawchuk had 11 carries for 97 yards and two touchdowns as the Seminoles (3-0) ran for a single-game school record 498 yards and surpassed last season’s win total. Castellanos left in the second quarter with an apparent ankle injury. With the Seminoles in front 45-7, Castellanos did not play in the second half. The Golden Flashes’ Dru DeShields completed 9 of 18 passes for 129 yards and had a 75-yard touchdown pass to Da’Shawn Martin.
SAN DIEGO (AP) — Chris Johnson returned an interception 97 yards for a touchdown and Dwayne McDougle had a 35-yard fumble return for a score as San Diego State stunned previously undefeated California 34--0. Jayden Denegal hit Jordan Napier on a 6-yard touchdown pass two plays after they hooked up on an 80-yard completion for the Aztecs (2-1), who rebounded two weeks after being routed 36-13 at future Pac-12 opponent Washington State. Cal dropped to 3-1. Johnson stepped in front of Jaiven Plummer to intercept true freshman Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele and then raced down the right sideline for a 27-0 lead late in the third quarter.
Orlando, FL (AP) — UCF's Tavyen Jackson threw for 223 yards with a passing and rushing touchdown to send UCF past a struggling North Carolina team 34-9. The Tar Heels threw two critical interceptions and could not gain much ground before quarterback Gio Lopez left the game in the third quarter with an apparent right leg injury.
