LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- It is one of the most popular paranormal attractions in the country -- now the owners of the Waverly Hills Sanitorium in Southwest Jefferson County have even bigger plans.
Charlie and Tina Mattingly have applied for a zoning change in order to turn the sanitorium into a hotel and convention center. According to the application, there are also plans for a liquor bottling business on the site.
Waverly Hills is an old tuberculosis hospital and it now hosts ghost tours.
