LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- This year's edition of the Jack O’Lantern Spectacular go on sale Friday, August 30.

The event had over 110,000 people visit last year and had a $2.9 million economic impact in the community. The Jack O'Lantern Spectacular this year will run from Oct. 1-Nov. 2 at Iroquois Park.

“Not only is this an organic art experience in the historic woods of Iroquois Park, but your ticket supports the Parks Alliance and enhances our public parks,” said Brooke Pardue, President/CEO of the Parks Alliance of Louisville, in a news release. “This event enables us to improve the health and wellbeing of our entire community through projects such as Parks For All, Alberta O. Jones Park, and many more.”

  • This Year’s Theme: Trivia Night – Pumpkin Edition
    • Guests will navigate through a whimsical trail of thousands of artistically carved, locally sourced pumpkins while testing their knowledge on art, music, folklore and more.
  • Special Events:
    • Pre-Lit Bash: Opening night on October 1 includes a special pre-event with food and drinks before guests are guided to the front of the trail.
    • Sensory Night: on October 21, with early gate opening at 6 p.m. This sensory-friendly hour is designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and sensory processing differences, featuring minimal music and no special effects.
    • Republic Bank Discount: On October 22, enjoy $2 off tickets with a discount code from Republic Bank or at the gate with a Republic Bank credit/debit card or employee ID.

Dozens of Louisville artists have spent weeks working on thousands of pumpkins ahead of the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular, a fall tradition in Iroquois Park that kicks off Tuesday.
