LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It was a day of spook-tacular treats and sights on Sunday at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens.
Trick or treaters took part in family-friendly activities as part of Boo Dell 2023. Many of the children dressed up in their favorite Halloween costumes.
There was trail of treats, but also plenty of educational opportunities. The horticulture team hosted activities about nature and plants and there was live music by School of Rock.
"It's our chance to connect with families that have not met us before so this is a time to both celebrate and connect with our members but also families that are new to the area or just even new to Yew Dell to come out and see that," said Manda Barger, marketing manager at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens.
