LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have evacuated the Walmart on Bashford Manor Lane for a bomb threat.
According the LMPD's X page, the threat came in at 7:23 a.m. via phone.
ALL CLEAR: The Bomb Squad has rendered the scene “clear”. Police are beginning to leave the scene. This is the 2nd WalMart-related bomb scare in a week (Fern Creek 2/23). Both are under investigation. We are NOT prepared to state they are related.

The bomb squad and several other units responded to the scene and the parking lot was blocked off during the investigation.
The all-clear announcement was posted on X about 9:40 a.m. and police began leaving the scene. According to the post it's the second bomb scare at a local Walmart within a week. Both incidents remain under investigation, but LMPD's post indicated they are "not prepared to state they are related."
