Louisville's positive momentum appears to be swinging back our way with the announcement that the United Football League is bringing a professional franchise to our city in the spring.
The Louisville Kings will play at Lynn Family stadium, which is the perfect venue for a UFL team.
Here's what our viewers had to say:
"I think the Point of View this morning was right on target. Louisville has improved, and I live in southern Indiana but I was raised in Louisville. I love to see it. Thank you."
"As we keep the positivity rolling, maybe an NBA team will be next. Let's go, city of Louisville."
"It's positive. You're right about that. But we shouldn't set our sights on this minor league or non-major league teams. We should further the development of major league franchises to be competitive with our peer cities."
"I do hope that the new football team does good, but, if you can't afford to do it and go as a family, then why even try? Quit trying to make it off everybody else's back."
"Bill, Greg Galiette, president of the Louisville Bats baseball team here at Louisville Slugger Field. I really enjoyed your Point of View segment this morning, highlighting the many great developments. One important milestone that wasn't mentioned was without the success of Louisville Slugger Field back in 2000, much of the momentum we've seen in downtown may never have happened."
