            A jury made a sentencing recommendation Tuesday for the man convicted of murder two years after running over a Kansas family in downtown Louisville.
A jury found Michael Hurley guilty Monday of murder, assault and driving under the influence two years after he ran over a Kansas family in downtown Louisville, killing a man and seriously injuring his wife and daughter.
Hurley is charged with murder, multiple counts of assault and driving under the influence. He is facing up to 70 years in prison.
Michael Hurley admitted to doing drugs before hitting a Kansas family with his car at 2nd and Market streets on July 5, 2022.
