Explosions are sounding in Iran's capital city as its war with the U.S. and Israel enters a fifth day. Iranian state television reported explosions in Tehran at dawn Wednesday. And Israel said its air defenses were activated due to incoming missile fire from Iran. The fighting continued after Israel stepped up airstrikes on Iranian missile launchers and a nuclear research site, and Iran retaliated against Israel and across the Gulf region. Explosions also rang out Tuesday in Lebanon, where Israel said it struck Hezbollah militants. The American embassy in Saudi Arabia and the U.S. consulate in the United Arab Emirates came under drone attacks.
