Gaza's fragile ceasefire is facing its first major test. An Israeli security official said the transfer of humanitarian aid into the territory was halted Sunday after Hamas militants killed two soldiers, but later said it would resume Monday. Israeli forces launched a wave of strikes across Gaza but later said they resumed enforcing the ceasefire. U.S. President Donald Trump said the ceasefire remains in effect. Health officials say at least 36 Palestinians were killed. A little over a week has passed since the start of the U.S.-proposed truce aimed at ending two years of war. A senior Egyptian official involved in ceasefire negotiations said “round-the-clock” contacts were underway to de-escalate the situation.
