Noel's daughter also earned close to $80,000 in 2022 as his administrative assistant. 

The case against Misty Noel is connected to months of local and state investigations into her husband, Jamey Noel, who was arrested in November 2023 on 15 charges related to fraud, theft, misconduct and public corruption.

The Indiana Supreme Court appointed a special judge Thursday to oversee the case against Misty Noel, who was recently charged with five counts of theft and five counts of tax evasion in Clark County.
