LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana held at No. 2 in the Associated Press Top 25 for a third consecutive week after its last-minute comeback to avoid a loss at Penn State. Louisville dropped four spots to No. 19 -- third highest in the ACC behind No. 14 Georgia Tech and No. 16 Miami.

The Hoosiers are 10-0 and will face Wisconsin in Bloomington on Saturday. The only sign of their drop in support from the narrow escape came in first-place votes, where they fell from 11 to six.

Louisville, which hung in the poll for a fifth straight week, is 2-0 against teams in the current rankings, with James Madison moving into this week’s poll at No. 24. Unfortunately for the Cards, they’ve now lost two games to teams outside the rankings (Virginia and California).

The AP poll takes a back seat at this point in the season, with the College Football Playoff rankings determining playoff positions come December.

The Top 5 remained unchanged with Ohio State at No. 1, Texas A&M at No. 3, and Alabama and Georgia rounding out the Top 5. The next five, however, all changed position.

Ole Miss moved up one spot to No. 6, followed by Oregon, Texas Tech, Notre Dame and Texas.

The next CFP rankings are due out Tuesday night.
