LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some potters are sharing their passion and helping feed the hungry.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser joins some artists before the Southern Crossings Pottery Festival.
The Southern Crossings Pottery Festival (SXPF) is an annual ceramics event that highlights the cultural significance and historical background of pottery.
It also contributes to addressing hunger among children in our community.
This festival features the various ways in which a bowl can provide nourishment to people and showcase the innovations in the field of contemporary ceramics.

SXPF First Pick Friday (Ticketed Event)
Friday, March 1st @ 5:00 - 9:00 PM
Event is open to the public from 7pm–9pm.
$10 online, $20 at the door for 5pm–7pm entry.
Ticket holders will have access to see and purchase the work of 12 amazing potters prior to the general public.
