LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Many people will be celebrating the Holidays at home this year.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser joins some folks at Brown-Forman for some Holiday Entertaining ideas.
When you want to make an impression and memories at your holiday gathering, turn to the pros at Brown-Forman.
From setting up your holiday bar to decorating the table to Champagne ideas, they know how to keep the party going.
Opening a bottle of champagne the right way and at the right moment can wow your guests.
Loosen the cage by rotating the tab 6 half turns.
Loosen it enough to fit over the lip of the bottle, but don’t take it off yet.
Be sure to keep your hand holding both the cork and cage in place now that it’s no longer secure.
Hold the bottle at a 45° angle and start to rotate the base of the champagne bottle while holding the cork and cage firmly.
You’ll find this much easier and safer than trying to rotate the cork/cage.
A champagne stopper will prolong the bubbly the best and generally keep it good for 3-5 days.
