LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Papa John's Storm Eva Bandman Halloween Cross presented by Sam Swope Auto Group happens on Sunday, October 26 at Eva Bandman Cyclocross Park.

This is the 10th year for the race.

Racers from around the region try to out do each on their bikes and with their costumes.

Gift baskets for the top three costumes, and you don't have to race to be in the contest.

Eva Bandman is literally a World Championship venue for cyclocross, a cross between road racing and mountain biking.

Some of the obstacles include Stonehenge (a stone-step run up); a railroad-tie run up; hair-raising drops; wooded trails; two sand sections; a road section for the start/finish; and lots of course fencing for a pro-race feel.

The laps take about 6 minutes and you can see 90% of the course at all times.
