LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Dress for Success Louisville celebrates 15 years of service with a new Dining Out In Style event Thursday, October 8.

The event, presented by Visionworks, Drs. of Optometry, is a fundraiser and fashion show featuring clients who have successfully completed various programs within the organization. And it will recognize Women of Distinction in our community. Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn, will serve as this year's honorary event co-chairs. WDRB's Elizabeth Woolsey and Gil Corsey will emcee the fundraiser.

Gladys Barclay, Judge Paula Sherlock, Laura M.Douglas, Charlotte Ipsan, Karen Williams, MJ Diebold, Barbara Montgomery, Pat Peet, Kathy Pleasant, Shannon White, Viki Diaz and Carolle Jones Clay.  

In addition to these powerful women, a spotlight will shine on two inspirational women who have come through and continue to participate in the programs of Dress for Success Louisville. Each one brings a compelling story of overcoming obstacles and achieving greatness to giving back to others the same empowerment she was given.

The fundraiser and fashion show is an excellent opportunity to introduce the community to the valuable resources Dress for Success Louisville has to offer. Programs like Professional Women's Group and Going Places Network, along with ongoing trainings and workshops, help clients feel connected and empowered to take on the next step in their journey to self-sufficiency.
