MetroSafe: Body found in Ohio River near Waterfront Park

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A deceased male was recovered Sunday afternoon from the Ohio River under the Interstate 65 near Waterfront Park, according to Louisville Metro Police. 

MetroSafe said police received a call at 3:31 p.m. involving a body in the river.

Police were able to remove the body at 3:52 p.m.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the death.
